Database Administrator - Fresher

Leadwinner is looking for Database Administrator with excellent technical background.

B.E., MCA or B.Tech. - Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology

0 to 1 years experienced in Database Administration

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Manage database access.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks.
• Should perform database Backup and recovery process.
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
• Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Managing and monitoring data replication.
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
• Knowledge in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
• Knowledgeable with Linux and Windows Server environments
• Knowledgeable with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledgeable with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
• Knowledgeable of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages API.
• Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
